The Private Renters Conference 2025 will take place on Wednesday 10 September at The Crypt, St Peter’s Church, SE17 2HH.

This year’s conference invites public sector and VCS professionals working at the frontline of the housing crisis to come together to improve conditions in the private rented sector. As the Renter’s Rights Bill nears completion in Parliament, this is a pivotal time to plan for the road ahead, learn from eachother’s insights on the sector, and work together to better support private renters.

What to expect:

• Insights on implementation of the Renter’s Rights Bill and the Mayor’s work on renters’ reform from the Greater London Authority
• Updates on homelessness and enforcement services from Southwark Council Private Rented Sector housing teams
• Critical discussion of hos statutory, VCS and legal services can better coordinate to improve conditions for private renters.
